Days 18 & 19 - ID, WY, MT

More abandon buildings & graffiti.

Fave.

Nick claims that there were hooks in the walls in this room.

It's purely coincidental that I chose to point with this finger.

Montana's best dressed.

The Grand Tetons.

This is how we stay awake/entertain ourselves while driving.

Left- Nick's face is completely square, like a rock at Easter Island or something.

'The Duke.' Check out Nick's expression.

This cloud woke up late- embarrassing.

The Tetons/Yellowstone were the most beautiful and eventful places we've been to yet.

Crotchety old man.

We drove through 'bear country' but didn't get to see any grizzlies.

HOT GEYSERS KIDS!

Ol' Faithful.

Pffft.

A bunch of albino trees and pine cones.

We snapped this quick cause we realized we were right next to a geyser.

On the sandbar. Deer Driftwood.

Skipping rocks/choreographing an n'sync music video.

Black sand.

We saw so many buffalo.

A baby or female moose.

Snow!

This is a Marmot. It makes a noise just like a bird.

We played with these Pikas for a while. They're goofy.

Drifting. (Wish I could include the sound effect).

The Badlands and.or Mnt Rushmore tomorrow. Love you guys!!

  5. Janie I can tell you have your old Camera back the photos are showing the connection. The Tetons look absolutely incredible! Very well done! I love the car pictures too. I picked up on the easter island simularity but what I noticed even more was the resemblance to the alien from the movie COCOON on the last shot. Better take him back to area 51 for a check up. It's great to see you guys are smiling and having as much fun after 6000 miles as you did when you first pulled out our driveway. Bravo to you both!

Nick by the expression on your face on the Duke photo it appears your long awaited souvenier was finally located. Im sure its a shock to all of us that Montana is on the cutting edge of style but who could argue how Macho a pair of buffalo breifs really are?

Love you Both! Be safe, be happy and keep on truckin! Dad
