4 out of 5 ribs- extremely tender, sauce was a little over powering but a good pork flavor. Nice portion sizing.

The freaks made it.
Roswell's a cool little town. It feels like the twilight zone theme song should be playing all the time. Strange folks 'round these parts. We're on mountain time now, which gives us an extra hour to do laundry and get some much needed sleep. Tomorrow we're going to hoard as much of the free breakfast buffet as we can so we can save it for our journey to the white sands and mesa verde. Goodnight!

Although Dad used to say the true "moyer" thing to do with a speeding ticket is proudly frame it or put it on your fridge! Personally, in Texas I'd just go with paying it.
ReplyDeleteLove the pics. I never have noticed clouds actually cast shadows like that. I always just thought it was a cool literary saying. Amazing the things we take for granted! Really beautiful. Pictures from the OK state park looked pretty too. We're all excited to see more photos. The kids have their own comments as far as area 51 that I'll let them post.
Home front update: Dad, Pop-pop and Jeremy are all off to Canada. Aubrey still has issues with Nick's slayer role, saying that wolves don't shop in stores in the first place. This has come up quite a few times. She hasn't seen the cat picture yet but I'm sure she'll have something to tell Nick about it. Maybe she'll belive he slayed that. Love you guys!

Yes, it's hard to wrap ones brain around that fact that people in mid-America live in those conditions. CRAZY! So i see Nick is determined to make this an adventure rather than a road trip. Don't mess with Texas Nick! It's not prudent. lol Tyler says Nick is totally awesome, so you have a fan Nick. You guys are cruising across the country, I can't believe your in NM already.
